How do I know when my DI Tanks are exhausted?

Typically your DI system should last you somewhere between 300 to 1600 gallons, Depending on the type of system you have. Another indication is the QC light, When light is ON with water flowing through indicates water quality is good and when light is OFF with water flowing through indicates water quality is bad and time for a recharge    [ Back to top ]

In a multi-Di tank system, What should be the order of the tanks?

Typically most of our Di tanks are numbered. Tanks starting with number 1 should be the first tank in line. While tank numbered 2 should be second in line. For some reason tanks are not numbered or paint has worn off Cation tank should be place first, Followed by an Anion tank. Should you not know which is a Cation/Anion tank, Green tank (Cation) comes first followed by Red tank (Anion).[ Back to top ]

What is a Quality Light (QC light)?

The QC Light measures the electrical resistance in the de-ionized water. Green light stays on when resistance is at a pre-set level and when water is flowing through. Orange light turns on when resistance drops below the pre-set level. When light is ON with water flowing through indicates water quality is good and when light is OFF with water flowing through indicates water quality is bad and time for a recharge.[ Back to top ]

How much pressure can Di tanks withstand?

Di Tanks can withstand a pressure of 60 psi, Any pressure above this may cause the tank to explode. We suggest having a pressure regulator installed to monitor the pressure.[ Back to top ]

How many gallons will I get from my system?

 • What is the primary function of Pre-Filter?

Pre-Filters are used to protect the high pressure pump. We recommended nominally rated
 5-10 filters.
